The Hologic InSight FD Top Detector Cover (ASY-05682) is the upper enclosure panel of the flat panel detector housing on the Hologic InSight FD and InSight FD Flex mini C-arms. The top cover encloses and protects the upper surface of the flat detector assembly and is visible from above when the C-arm head is in use. It is commonly replaced following impact damage, cracking or breakage during transport, and as part of a full cosmetic refurbishment before resale or redeployment. A damaged top cover can expose internal detector components to contamination and will be flagged during facility inspections.
