Every Mini C-Arm we sell is fully disassembled, refinished, tested to OEM specs, and burn-in tested for 48 hours — then delivered, installed, and documented. This is what a real refurbishment looks like.
Built by some of the industry’s most technically experienced team.
Minicarm.com is led by Christopher Bacon, Co-Founder of Orthoscan, an early developer of Mini C-Arm technology. Our refurbishment process wasn’t copied from a manual. It was built from our teams combined 65+ years of hands-on experience with every model we sell.
Most dealers wipe a unit down and ship it out. We completely disassemble, refinish, replace wear components, calibrate to OEM specs, and run a 48-hour burn-in test — then deliver and install it at your facility. Call (800) 643-2998

Our Full Refurbishment Process — Start to Finish
Step by Step
Our 12-Step Refurbishment Process
01
Intake & Logging
Each unit is received at our loading dock and formally logged into our system, establishing a complete chain of custody from the moment it arrives.
02
Full Cleaning & Sanitization
Thoroughly cleaned and sanitized inside and out to remove all biohazardous materials — safe for our technicians and the end user.
03
HIPAA Compliance Verification
All patient data is fully removed and every system is verified HIPAA compliant. A step many third-party dealers skip entirely.
04
OEM Specification Testing
Tested against OEM specifications. Issues are either addressed immediately or documented for the refurbishment phase — nothing is ignored.
05
Complete Disassembly
Completely disassembled down to the casters. Every single component is individually inspected by hand for wear, defects, or damage.
06
Label & Marking Removal
All hospital labels, adhesives, and third-party markings carefully removed from every component before refinishing.
07
Surface Sanding & Preparation
Each component undergoes detailed surface preparation to minimize scratches, blemishes, and cosmetic imperfections prior to painting.
08
Professional Paint & Refinishing
Refinished in our dedicated paint booth to original OEM colors — or a custom color of your choice. Looks like it just left the factory.
09
24-Hour Cure Time
All painted components cure for a full 24 hours — ensuring a durable, long-lasting finish that holds up to daily clinical use.
10
Reassembly with OEM Parts
Expertly reassembled with OEM parts and restored to original standards. Critical wear components — including cables, power supplies, and flex arms — are proactively replaced to enhance durability and extend system life.
11
Calibration & Performance Testing
Precisely calibrated and tested against OEM performance specifications. Image quality, power, and all systems verified before burn-in.
12
